PAI Uptown is gearing up to open our Dine in Experience.

We're looking to hire the following positions with rolling start dates over the next couple of months: 

·       Hosts (1+ years experience)

·       Support / Takeout  (0 – 1 year experience)

·       Bartenders (1 + years experience with craft cocktail experience)

Who you are

The right person for this role has a strong hospitality leadership background and prioritizes both guest and team member experience. The ideal candidate is equal parts people and process-driven with an aptitude for creating efficiencies at all levels of the business.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • A hospitality mind, operates from Yes
  • The ability to multi-task and organize
  • Previous service experience in high volume environment
    Strong knowledge of cocktails and wine
  • ·        Smart Serve Certification


The Roles


  • Clear tables and re-set according to restaurant standards
  • Transport cutlery and plates from dish pit, glassware to bar
  • Polish clean cutlery and make roll-ups for table settings
  • Stock server station with polished plates and glassware
  • Stock station for service
  • Set up and close floor before and after service with the service team
  • Follow Health and Safety Standards when handling food
  • Attend regularly scheduled training meetings to develop knowledge and skills
  • Support service team
  • Other items as assigned


  • Greeting guests at the door
  • Answering phones/questions over the phone
  • Making reservations for guests
  • Organizing reservations for a good flow of service
  • Organize seating based on accessibility requirements
  • Keep front door area tidy and sanitized
  • Stock host stand as needed
  • Help team set-up/tear down
  • Communicate with support and servers based on special requests by guests
  • Other items as assigned


  • Take orders, deliver food and drink in a timely manner
  • Prepare drinks to order as punched in by service team
  • Communicate daily specials and make recommendations to guests
  • Cultivate unique and memorable dining experience for guests
  • Handle cash and process payments
  • Serve alcohol in accordance with Ontario Law
  • Study to maintain strong product and menu knowledge
  • Follow Health and Safety Standards when handling food and beverage
  • Partake in regular testing to ensure product knowledge is to standard (80%+)
  • Attend regularly scheduled training meetings to develop knowledge and skills
  • Develop rapport with frequent guests
